IF: Η δική μας εκδοχή

Κι επειδή η τέχνη δε γνωρίζει σύνορα, οι μαθητές του Γ2, αφού μελέτησαν  το «Αν» του R.Kipling με την καθηγήτριά τους A. Μητροπούλου, δημιούργησαν το δικό τους αγγλικό «Αν» :

IF..

If you are loyal and brave and fair,

If you can judge yourself but not always too kindly,

And if you are able to do justice to others,

Or find ways to help those in need and do good to a lot of people

Without expecting a payback,

If you believe in yourself and trust yourself and want to be the best and yet you don’t say you’re the best,

If you’re there for the homeless and respect and love your friends, your family and generally all people;

If you speak the language of the champions being confident

And always tell the truth being respectful and grateful at the same time,

If you reach your destination and yet you don’t go further than that,

Or resist temptation even when it knocks on your door,

And if you can express your wishes fearlessly,

Being happy when all the others around you are losing hope or wrongly blame you for things;

If you are truthful and not fake towards the others – a real friend in need;

If you reach where you can’t reach

And to do so you never give up

Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,

And – which is more – you’ll be a Man my son!
